Methodology

This index summarizes published starting prices only — the base package price a soft play or ball pit rental operator posts on its own website. We don't include quote-only operators, and we don't estimate individual prices here. Figures are grouped by package band (a starting party package, typically a fenced soft play area with a ball pit for a 3–4 hour rental), then summarized as the 25th percentile ("budget"), median ("typical"), and 75th percentile ("premium"). Metros and states are shown only where at least 3 operators publish prices, so small markets are omitted. Prices were collected in July 2026 and reflect base packages before delivery-distance travel fees, add-ons, or seasonal surcharges. Availability and pricing change constantly — this is a research reference, not a checkout price. Always confirm the current quote with the operator before booking.
